Greg got his start in photography at age 14 with an interest in landscape photography, while Colleen developed an interest in photography by taking children's portraits.



For your wedding they are the perfect team - Greg, with his experience as a talented landscape photographer captures wide-angle & breathtaking photos showing the beauty of your surroundings and the fun on the dance floor. Colleen focuses on capturing the important details and precious moments that will make your heart melt.



After graduating with degrees in photography, they opened Solas Studios in 2010. Inspired by their shared Irish heritage, "Solas" is the Irish-Gaelic word which means "light" - and photography is all about light! Their favorite colors are coincidentally orange and green, so it's a perfect fit!



Our director is our beloved feline friend, Smeagól. While he does not accompany us on the job, he does play an active roll in the business, supervising and making sure that we are working up to his standards!
