The Sons of Norway Fraternal Benefit Society was established in 1895 to preserve the best of Norwegian heritage and culture.
Over 60,000 members in the U.S., Canada and Norway belong to over 400 locally-governed lodges. Through each lodge, members celebrate their Norwegian heritage in their own community.
The Poulsbo Lodge was formed on February 22, 1916, by 36 men of Norwegian descent. Nine women were admitted in 1923. In 1973, the lodge opened its current building, Grieg Hall.
District 2 includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.
