In 1917, our family opened the first Sutherlands in Durant, Oklahoma.

Today, HomeBase represents more than 100 years of expertise in helping homeowners, farmers, construction companies, and those that like to get their hands dirty, build, and fix what matters to them.



We’ve also learned a few things over the years!

Among them, the idea that quality and value are expectations, not slogans.

That’s why, in 2010, we began envisioning HomeBase, a unique retail experience to serve a wide variety of customers and communities.



In 2017, 100 years after our family opened its first store, we opened the first HomeBase location in Copperas Cove, TX. Today, we have eight HomeBase locations, across four states.



At the heart of each HomeBase store is a dedicated team focused on quality and value. That’s why we stock the best brands like Stihl, Benjamin Moore, Kohler, Yeti, Bad Boy Mowers, and Milwaukee tools. These category leaders are just a few of the trusted and nationally-recognized brands we carry.

We currently have HomeBase stores in Lubbock, Amarillo, Copperas Cove, Plainview, and Mineral Wells, Texas, Alexandria, Louisiana, Ottawa, Kansas, and Nevada, Missouri. Every HomeBase store is staffed by trained team members, many of whom have decades of experience in the home improvement industry.
