Our Story

There’s something genuine and trustworthy about a Texas born and bred business. Especially one that’s earned darn near a century and a quarter of hard-won respect. From its early days in the west Kerr County ranch town of Ingram, the Moore family operated a grocery and general store, which eventually expanded to lumber, farm and ranch materials, building materials, furniture, and appliances. Along the way, smart decisions were made to add Del Rio and Uvalde to the growing family of stores.

Still quietly serving Texans in Del Rio, Ingram and Uvalde, T. J. Moore has established a solid reputation as the hometown alternative to big box, national chain stores.
