John Keeling, Principal of The Keeling Consultancy LLC, has over 45 years of experience in the hotel industry, ranging from management, appraisal, and asset management to litigation support, market research, and hotel development. He has over the years developed a particular specialty in litigation matters, having testified, either in deposition or court, on over 50 assignments. In addition to his hotel expertise, Mr. Keeling has honed his testimony skills through seminars with both The Forensic Expert Witness Association and SEAK Expert Witness Training.


For the past 13 years, while maintaining his consulting practice, Mr. Keeling has been developing hotels as a partner in the Valencia Hotel Group. There is a great advantage for an industry consultant to continue to work in the industry that fosters a real-world perspective and avoids the staleness that can limit someone who only consults.


Evelyn Keeling has specialized in the sale of hotel properties. She began her career with PKF Transactions, a division of PKF Consulting. She has earned the Certified Hospitality Industry Analyst designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association. She is a full member of AAHOA and is active with industry associations. Her commitment to the successful conclusion to a disposition assignment is evidenced by her string of completed transactions.
