Tower Engineering Company (TEC) is a structural engineering firm, specializing in the analysis, design, inspection and site development of communications towers for broadcasting corporations, public agencies and tower owners worldwide. With licensed engineers in 48 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico, TEC is incomparably experienced in all aspects of tower work including construction support, equipment buildings and associated infrastructure.

History

Tower Engineering Company is the continuation of the tower engineering services in the broadcast and communication industry provided by the industry pioneer, Madison J. Batt, PE, SE.

The company has taken an active leadership role in industry specification development, including direct authorship of the current TIA222, revision H standard and multiple articles published through the years. We are committed to the long-term viability of tower assets and have challenged our peers to develop themselves as well.

With over 45 years of industry niche experiences, the company has been continuously committed to developing young engineers and contributing to the rich heritage of the industry. Several of TEC’s peers in the marketplace were once young mentees of Madison himself.
