In 1987, TRS Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. opened its doors in a small warehouse in Amherst. The company set out to “Treat each person as if they were our only customer,” and that became the company motto after only a few years.

TRS began with 8 employees and focused on commercial, light commercial, low temp refrigeration, temperature control systems and Residential HVAC in all capacities. The owner, Timothy Schultz, and his first employee, Paul Robertson, are still a very active part of operations today.

Over the years, TRS transitioned to a Residential/Light Commercial company allowing it to concentrate on its growing customer base, while strictly adhering to all new EPA changes and building code updates, and transforming the HVAC industry to higher efficiency, tighter construction standards and the “Energy Efficient Home.”

Today TRS has over 35 employees, and is owned and operated by the original owner and now, his children. TRS is continuing its journey into an every changing HVAC world, based on smaller, more efficient equipment than ever before. Come aboard this exciting journey with us!
