Roy H. Turnbull, a Batavia, NY native, started Turnbull Heating & Air Conditioning in 1966 as a one-man service operation. By 1990, the company was well established in Genesee County performing residential and commercial heating, air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration service, installations, and scheduled maintenance programs.

In January 1991, William E. Hayes, who worked for a Buffalo mechanical contractor for ten years, purchased the business from Roy Turnbull. Bill Hayes, a U.S. Navy Veteran, graduated from Alfred State College with a degree in air-conditioning design and is a firm believer in quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Currently, Turnbull Heating & Air Conditioning Team coordinates services over seven counties in Western New York.
