The South Texas Farm & Ranch Show is a non-profit, volunteer managed event organized by South Texas Farm & Ranch Show Committee and Texas A&M Agrilife Extension – Victoria County. The show offers the opportunity to communicate industry advances to farmers, ranchers, agribusiness, and the general public from exhibitors. The show usually hosts between 1000 and 1500 individuals.
We also offer educational classes with CEU credit hours for Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide license renewals. Training classes are also offered for Texas Department of Agriculture private applicator license. The Lunch program has speakers on current industry topics. Most educational programs are based on Agricultural Literacy.
Educational programs are also offered to over 700 grade school students about where their food comes from in a program entitled Path to the Plate. We also offer a program for high school students with speakers from the Ag industry about future careers. This program is entitled Inside Agriculture.
