Dr. Jeanette Stromme has worked in the Yakima Valley since she graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. At ICO, she earned clinical honors and made the dean's list. Her externship assignments included VA hospitals, private practices, and surgery centers. In Denver, Colorado, she refined her skills at The Dishler Laser Institute of the Rockies, performing pre-and post-operative Lasik care. In Walla Walla, Washington, she was an extern at the Johnson M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center. At this VA hospital, she performed comprehensive eye exams and emergency eye care. In Daytona Beach, Florida, Dr. Stromme continued her education at the William V Chappell Jr VA Outpatient Clinic, where she co-managed cataract surgery and treated patients with ocular disease.

In Harwood Heights, Illinois, she worked at Northwest Optometric Associates LTD. At this private practice, she specialized in pediatrics, vision therapy, and developmental vision. She received an undergraduate degree from Seattle University in General Science with a Pre-Professional Specialization. Dr. Stromme is the past president of the Yakima Valley Society of Optometric Health and Fitness Committee. Dr. Stromme is a former member of Sunrise Rotary and served as a board member for comprehensive mental health.
