Opening my own pet salon became a dream of mine from the first time I picked up a clipper and groomed my first dog back in 1991. It was in my husband’s mother, Pat’s salon. She taught me all the basic grooming skills I needed to get started and just continued to learn and hone my skills in different salons in the Los Angeles area.

Maybe working with animals was just written in the stars for me as I grew up on a ranch with a wide variety of animals big and small. My Grandparents also owned a local feed store called Buckley’s Feed & Supply.

After 10 years of grooming I was promoted to manage several salons for a major pet corporation and one of my duties was to train new groomers fresh out of academy to learn specific breed clips and scissoring technique.

It was time to open and manage my own, so with my husbands money management skills along with my knowledge and passion and God’s blessing, here we are. A successful, thriving Pet Styling Company.
